Veggie burger recipe | How to make Veggie burger at home | Easy recipe for burger patty
Everyone’s favorite McDonald’s McVeggie burger is prepared with Potatoes and different vegetables. Paneer can be added to enhance the taste. It tastes best when it is deep fried. It also can be made by shallow frying.

For burger patties:
3-4 medium-sized potatoes
150 grams paneer
½ cup boiled green peas
½ cup boiled carrots
½ cup boiled french beans
½ cup boiled sweet corns
4 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp refined flour
Salt as per taste
1 tsp Red chili powder
⅔ cup water to make the batter
1 cup breadcrumbs
Oil for deep frying
For assembling burger:
8 burger buns
2 tbsp butter (to roast burger buns)
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp mayonnaise
7-8 lettuce leaves
2 tomatoes (sliced)
2 onions (sliced)
8 cheese slices
1, In a bowl, grate potatoes and paneer and mix all the boiled and chopped vegetables. Add salt and 2 tbsp cornstarch and mix everything well. Take small portions in hand and give a shape of the burger patty. It makes 8 patties.
2, In another bowl, Mix 2 tbsp cornstarch and 2 tbsp refined flour, add salt and make a thin batter by adding water gradually. Dip burger patties into the batter and cover it with breadcrumbs.
3, Repeat the above process and prepare all the burger patties. Cover with the cling film and freeze the patties for an hour. After 1 hour, Deep fry all the patties until golden brown.
4, Cut the burger buns horizontally and make 2 parts. Light roast the burger buns with butter and place one part in serving plate. Spread some tomato ketchup and put onion and tomato slices above it. Place some lettuce and burger patty one above the other and put cheese slice. On the other side spread some mayonnaise and place it on top.
