  • My kind makes a vegan collagen supplements and you can get vegan Dha/epa instead of fish oil. If veganism is important to you do your research and make it work. If your not really doing it for the animals but more for personal health reasons then you are not really vegan but rather plant based.

I highly encourage you and everyone else taking it as a “supplement” to do a quick google search on what it actually is. 🤢🤮 I don’t think most people will find animal tendons, ligaments, and bones very appealing.

  • Hey! I’m not sure if this was already commented or mentioned but you mentioned being on your period when you got your blood work done. That happened to me and my test results came back low in iron (I’m also vegan) so I had to get them redone when I wasn’t on my period and my levels were fine! I would for sure try to get retested! I’m not sure why your dr. didn’t factor that in. But I also had a heavy flow due to estrogen dominance.

  • From what I understand …..canned beans don’t need to be soaked.

  • Me and any version of processed soy do not agree also. I can eat straight edamame beans but that’s it. Tofu and soy protein products give me the runs and bloated and cystic acne when eaten repeatedly.

  • Since your already on a plant base life, should totally look into a #ZeroWaste lifestyle even if everyone is not completely zero waste any less packing or less waste helps the environment! Simple easy changes like not using plastic bags, using your own straw or buying more in bulk. ♻️💛

  • What is the benefit of soaking your beans?

  • For the fish oil- you could ask your doctor about algal oil. From what I read it has the same effecicay as fish oil. I personally have used it and I've been vegan for almost 4 years. It doesn't taste good, but neither does fish oil. But definitely ask your doctor 🙂

  • Don't feel bad. The same exact thing happened to me except my symptoms were so extreme that I had to start adding meat to my diet. I absolutely loved how I felt while on the Vegan lifestyle. Best of luck to you!!!

  • Have you ever been anemic in the past? I am not vegetarian or vegan but I have noticed that if I don't eat red meat during the month I end up borderline anemic (I was anemic as a kid)….even with eating leafy greens and chicken and taking supplements. And with the bruising, I would suggest trying buckwheat in your smoothies!! (I grind it up first and then add the protein and fruit), it majorly helped me with bruising easily.
