Amaranth porridge with fruits and nuts is very useful and tasty dish for vegetarians and everyone who prefers healthy food and healthy diet.
– Amaranth grain (seed) – 0,5 cups
– Water 0.4 liters (amaranth:water ratio = 1:3)
– Apple – 1 pc.
– Orange – 1 pc.
– Walnuts – 7 pcs.
– Honey – at will and to taste
Boil water, add the amaranth. Cook, stirring, until the seeds fall to the bottom.
When the seeds sink to the bottom, cover with a lid. Cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cut the apple. Peel and slice the orange. Clear walnuts.
Fruits, nuts and honey add to taste. Amaranth porridge is ready.
