• POST DANIEL FAST -4 Recipes- Vegan Pizza-Cilantro Lime “Chicken” Tacos•

Hello friends! Many of you are done with the Daniel fast. Then again some of you are still on the fast. These 4 recipes are vegan, and safe for the fast excluding 2 things. ( pizza dough, and corn tortillas) these 2 things are easily swapped out to be Daniel fast safe alternatives. Just use cauliflower pizza crust, and wheat tortillas instead. In this video I talk about what the fast is really about, and for. Also I respond to the many comments about sugar, and what some people feel can and can not be eaten during the fast. Some people also think the fast is not biblical, or a real fast. Please see the book of Daniel in the 1st and 10th chapter. I really hope you all love these recipes as much as I do!

PeanutButter Chocolate Oatmeal Breakfast bowl~

1 cup old fashioned oats
1/12 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1tsp cinnamon
tsp almond butter
1tsp peanut butter
1 tsp cacao powder
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (add more for desired creaminess)
1 sliced banana
handful frozen strawberries (I heated mine in the microwave)
1/2 coconut shreds (or more if you choose)
1 tsp chia seeds

Southwestern Buddha Bowl~
2 cups water
1 tsp vegetable boullion
1 cup brown rice
2 tsp taco seasoning
In separate sauce pan –
1 tsp coconut oil
1 cup mushroom
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp sea salt
pepper to taste
1 tsp hot sauce of choice
1 tsp montreal steak season
heat mushrooms through, cover, and set aside.

In separate pan, heat-
1/2 yellow pepper chopped
1/2 white onion chopped
cook just until onions become slightly clear. remove from heat, and set aside.

Dice 2 medium tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 diced avocado

In bowl heat 1 can vegetarian chili (I used the microwave)
in bowl heat 1 cup Baja roasted corn blend (Or just corn)

For sauce-
2 tsp spicy hummus
2, or 3 tsp salsa of choice

Layer starting with rice, then add other ing on top of rice individually side by side. Top with Mushrooms, and sauce.

Vegan Pizza~

Mix together-
2 tbs tomato paste
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp season salt (I used Johnnies)
pepper to taste
1/4 cup water
Mix until smooth, and speed evenly on raw pizza dough of your choice

3 mini sweet peppers chopped (colors of your choice)
3/4 to 1 cup chopped broccoli
1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
1/2 cup chopped onion (color of your choice)
1/2 to 1 cup mushrooms
1 cup vegan “hamburger” crumbles
2 cup vegan mozzarella shreds (I use Daiya brand)

Bake until crust is golden, enjoy!

Vegan Cilantro Lime “Chicken” soft tacos~

In skillet heat-
1 pkg vegan Chick’n strips
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Webers kick’n chicken seasoning
juice of 1/2 lime
1/4 cup cilantro
cover, and heat

2 cups tri colored cooked quinoa
1/4 cup water
1 tbs taco seasoning

Pico De Gallo-
2 medium tomatos chopped
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 tsp sea salt
squeeze of lime

2 tbs vegan mayo (I use just mayo)
juice of 1 lime
handful chopped cilantro
1 tsp taco seasoning

2 cup chopped power greens (or lettuce of your choice)
1 sliced avocado
heat tortilla shells, then layer inside ing in the order you choose. Top with sauce, and enjoy!
