Here’s my recipe for the ultimate salty-sweet dessert turbo-charger: Salted Caramel! All you need is sugar, water, vanilla, cream, sea salt and a little know-how and within ten minutes you could have a seriously delicious salted caramel situation on your hands. Hi, I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question but can I actually can this caramel & put it in the pantry like I would do with regular canned goods or does this have to stay in the frig and if I do have to store it in the frig…do I have to sterilize my jars/ Thank you so much, can't wait to try this!!

I was pouring my caramel sauce in the jar and I closed the lid then the glass shattered! I made it again and I let it cooled for about 20 minutes before putting it in the jar then when I was going to pour it in the caramel was set!???????? I did it once more but leaving it for 10 minutes and it finally worked! Just saying worth it the sauce is so TASTY!
