One of the most popular dishes that comes to our mind when we talk of Chinese cuisine is Schezwan Rice.
Check out chef Ruchi Bharani’s take on this popular Chinese dish.
Ingredients:
1 bunch finely chopped spring onion
1 tsp. finely chopped garlic
1 or 2 whole red chilli
100 gms finely chopped carrot
100 gms french beans
2-3 tbsp. schezwan sauce
3 tbsp. oil
Salt to taste
1 1/2 cup rice
1 tsp. soya sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
Method:
– Heat oil in a wok.
– Once the oil is hot, add the garlic, red chili, french beans and carrots and stir fry these vegetables on a high flame for about 1 minute.
– Add schezwan sauce to the above ingredients and mix it well with the veggies.
– Add a little bit of soya sauce and vinegar along with the boiled rice and mix all the ingredients well.
– Add salt to taste and toss the rice and vegetables to mix all the ingredients well.

I have used Chings Schezewan Sauce but its not giving Red color to Rice like the one you have, please let me know which brand of schezwan sauce you used.
