you'll find that chopping up and adding, cilantro, red baby radishes, fresh mint, and oregano, will make your fatoush much more delicious! thats how we do it in Lebanon! :)
As a half lebanese half palestinian guy i can rate this 😀 It's really similar to the real thing ! Try to put pomegranade juice on it, it is an extremely tasty acid source ! :D
Are scallions spring onions?? (I live in England so I'm not sure if they are different but to me they look like spring onions!)
Bell pepper, cucumber and tomatoes are all fruits not vegetables because the seeds are on the inside.
Anyone else Lebanese Here ? And you forgot the key ingredient sumac !
👍👍👍👍👍😊💜🙊😻😻😻
Normally we add sliced radish, watercress, sumac, sliced onions. Some people make the dressing with lemon juice but Mom used to make it with pomegranate molasses. OMG it's delicious
Hi Catherine! I could eat salad every day of the summer. And i do! Thanks for another great recipe for salad. These baked pita chips give it a special touch.
Happy day!
Patricia.
you can keep the garlic but add summac , im lebanese and its very healthy like the tabbouleh , and when you finish it , put in a side dip or cup pomegranate syrup so they can add on top and mix and eat , try it with sumac and pomengranate… it varies alot
Sounds like a great recipe!
That's how you make a regular Lebanese salad minus the pita chips. But to make an authentic fatoush salad, you need to add finely chopped or dried mint, parsely also finely chopped, fresh thyme finely chopped or dried, and sumac. I also add a little bit of red wine vinegar. Try it this way, and you will never go back!
That's a Lebanese dish
I make the dressing a little different. Lemon(or vinegar), olive oil, sumac, salt and ONIONS. Sometimes I love it with a little Pomegranate syrup. Try it, you will hooked!!!
Good recipe but we make it more delicious in Lebanon 😍😍
you forgot an ingredient and it's really important it's sumac
There's a guy walk passed her window on 1:25
One of the most important ingredients in the dressing is sumac
You need sumac!!! It's the key ingredient to Fattouche.
In the original Lebanese recipe there is no garlic but a spice called sumac
Facoachie salad is what I like >.>
