INGREDIENTS
——————–
(This recipe makes 4 breads, approx 4-5 net carbs per bread)
2 cups (250g) ground almonds (almond meal)
7-8 tbsps (40g) tbsps psyllium husks (fine crumbs or powder)
2 tsps baking powder
2 tsps sweetener
Small pinches of salt
1 tsp quick action yeast (optional)
1 tbsp oil
2 cups hot water (Add a small amount at a time. You most likely won’t need the full amount!)
2 tsps vinegar
Sesame seeds (for sprinkling on top)
DIRECTIONS
——————
1. Add all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Place aside.
2. In 2 cups of freshly boiled hot water, add in 2 tsps of vinegar, mix well.
3. Add oil in the dry ingredients, then pour in a small amount of the hot vinegar/water liquid and start kneading the dough. Add more liquid (1 tsp at a time!) as you go till you reach a smooth and glossy texture.
4. Preheat the oven in 180C (350F). Gather the dough into a large ball and leave it to rest for 10-15mins)
5. Divide the bread dough into four portions and shape each portion into a ball shape. Place the dough balls on a greased baking tray. Press the dough balls gently to create a bun shape. Coat the top of the bread dough with oil. Sprinkle some sesame seeds.
6. Bake the bread dough in a 180C (350F) preheated oven for 50-60mins till golden brown.
Enjoy! x

Is it possible to avoid Baking powder & baking soda? And use Yeast instead?

Is psyllium fiber powder the same as psyllium husk powder?? Need answers. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01I5B2WZQ/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8 I’ve got this in my cupboard. Let me know please
Do you find that when using the Psyllium husk ground powder that you don’t need as much as the un ground crumb type? I grind mine in my Coffee grinder and it makes it nice and fine very quickly. Thanks for this recipe, it is great!!
Thank you for well explained cooking of this bread. Great video.
No yeast title and guess what, your video adds yeast. Miss leading title.
You’re so calming and precious I can tell you enjoy cooking and sharing your knowledge. And for that I truly thank you. I’ve learned a lot from your videos. I’m very grateful and blessed Stay safe and please keep sharing. I love the bread so much because I would so miss it if I couldn’t have it. Thanks to you I can. Thank you again. Hugs♥️
I love this recipe so much! I make it a lot, with a few personal adjustments.
I have been on a gluten free diet for over a year and have decided l better start making my own food vs., buying…….you are lovely thanks!👍
Trying this can you edit your talk so we get to the recipe faster!
I totally love this bread recipe and it helps us so much in keep going with the keto vegan lifestyle!Like many others of your recipes :X What I would like to mention is about the psyllium husk.I think it's really important to pay attention at the feedbacks of the product when choosing which one to buy.I used one brand for a long time and was all perfect, and then when I ran out of it, I bought a different one cause what I used was out of stock, and the result was awful.Purply greyish gummy bread that couldn't be eaten. It was the only ingredient that was different.I eventually found my old brand and now the bread is perfect again :X We love to eat it with a traditional romanian dish called "ciorba"( like the soup, but sour).Thank you for making our life so much easier with your great content :X
Hi! Can't wait to try this! I had a question though, can I make them larger for a soup bowl/dip bowl/bread bowl size? Thanks
Hello!!! What kind of oven did u use? Eléctric ones? Big or little ones?
Do you know how many carbs each one is please? The boiling water doesn’t kill yeast?
Just wonder how long can I keep the buns? And should it be refrigerated or will it do Ok at room temperature? Thanksss 🙂
Can I substitute the syllium for ground flax seeds?
