1 tsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, diced
1/4 cup onion, diced (to taste)
1 medium zucchini, spiralized
1 cup spaghetti squash
1 cup cooked pasta/black bean spaghetti
1 cup red pasta sauce
salt & pepp to taste
Optional nutritional yeast on top! (can get in health foods store or on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Now-Foods-Nutritional-Flakes-10-Ounce/dp/B000MGR1N6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1441034893&sr=8-2&keywords=nutritional+yeast)

In a pot over medium heat, saute garlic and onion in olive oil until tender. 
Add sauce and season with salt & pep if desired, stirring until warm and lightly bubbly.
Add in noodles, spaghetii squash and pasta. Stir to coat.
Top with fresh parsley or chives.
Remember– you can really throw whatever you want into this dish! There are no rules!

  • ha, sorry this is my second comment to you today! I just adore you and love your videos. but just so you know, I've made this coconut cauliflower curry FIVE times now. it's absolutely delicious. I am actually Indian from India, but I was born in California. anyways, on my mom's prayer days we had to either fast or only eat vegetarian meals that day. so she would make cauliflower hurry a lot on our vegetarian days. so when I make this dish, I make it a little bit different because I add a habanero pepper because I love the heat. I also used cooked potatoes in place of the garbanzo beans. that is technically the more authentic way and how my mom use to make it and how I am used to it, so I use cooked potatoes in place of the garbanzo beans. but other than that I follow everything exactly as you have written it and it is so delicious. thank you so much for sharing this recipe. it was really nostalgic for me because it took me back home to my mom. and that's the great thing about recipes, you can always make them a little bit different and a little bit your own. I also serve this with basmati rice. my family loves this dish. thank you so much for bringing a little piece of home back to me.

  • I like how you don't impose any specific diet on anyone. Food is such a sensitive subject I feel, You make kind suggestions and give alternatives for each lifestyle. Very warm and welcoming disposition, happy to have found your channel.

  • you always look so pretty. I  eat a plant based meals. I do eat a little meat here and there.  .. and my daily water. I just think everything in  moderation. you should try out for American ninja. you can put pepper and sugar on the grapefruits, and put them under the broiler , until the sugar hardens a bit. but not until it burns. and it's so good.  my grandma use to do put sugar on the grapefruits and stick it in the fridge over night for my grandpa and made it a little less tart.
