After making stock I always shred the meat of the backbone and use it for fajitas, tacos, or some simple chicken stew. I put the stock in ice holders and freeze it. That way you always have stock blocks to cook with ;)
Seriously Thank You!!
This is the best video on youtube about this process. Well done you :)
First Chicken I properly cut, went beautifully, thank you!
So unhealthy.
Should have taken off the skin before throwing it in the pot for cooking.
I have watched 7-8 of these about how to cut up a chicken, and this is the best one I have watched. Thanks

You go girl ! Awesome to see more females doing this type of job 🙂 I hate when a guy looks at us (females) weirdly because we don't mind getting our hands dirty in the kitchen !
Thank you, Melissa! You taught an old dog a new trick. The pieces are submerged in brine right now and in an hour they will be transferred to the smoker.
I am getting suspicious of all these meat recalls! Has it occurred to anybody that the Gov. might be confiscating the meat for their underground bunkers?
